Great place to take a break while hiking through the Cedar Run Creek Natural Area.
Way back when Mr. Slowflyers was a Boy Scout leader, Troop 35 often camped out here. At that time, this area was known as Gilbert Pines. Now it's part of the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy, owned and maintained by Long Lake Township. The cache is small and in a rather logical location. It's too small for anything other than a log. Keep your eyes and ears open, enjoy the area and keep on 'caching!
