This is the last cache in a series of 7 to explore the far reaches of Hylands Park in Chelmsford. Parking is available just inside the Three Mile Hill entrance which is open during daylight hours (Gates closed at night). Park is closed for the Rize Festival for two weeks in August and access and parking may be restricted at other times - please see council website, Hylands events page. You are looking for one of two old trees in a more recently planted woodland area. The squirrels like the "fruit" of the tree but they won't like this. From here you can continue back to the car park or head up to view the House and Gardens and visit the Stables Gift Shop and Cafe for refreshments.
