Hike through a mature deciduous forest at Bull Shoals State Park
The Big bluff Trail at Bull Shoals State Park is a pleasant 2 mile hike to the Big bluff Lookout, and away from the bluff through the woods and back down to the beginning of the loop. there is a 260 foot elevation change as the trail wanders past views of the White River and through cedar glades and mature deciduous forests. Make sure to check out the many Ozark wildflowers that bloom throughout the seasons. this location is a bit off the trail over some fallen trees to a "wood fairy house". The trail is rocky, and may be slippery when wet. Please wear proper footwear.
