Geocache Description:

We had to replace this cache because this cache and another downriver cache of ours had been taken in the last two months. This series highlights some historical facts about the Detroit River. The Detroit River flows for 24 nautical miles (44 km; 28 mi) from Lake St. Clair to Lake Erie as a strait in the Great Lakes system and forms part of the border between Canada and the United States.

In 1948, McLouth Steel started its $100 million expansion program by purchasing riverfront property in Trenton, MI. Construction on the first major construction program was started soon afterward. The site was laid out and four sixty ton electric arc furnaces were installed.

This is a park and grab cache that is in a small container. There is some things for trade and a log. Kindly replace the cache in the exact place that you have found it. Please do not take the cache.
