This the first cache we have hidden. It will mark our up coming 300th find!
The pad at Neilston is a great dog walking location and somewhere our Geodog often goes. There is plenty of woods for her to play in and a reservoir for a swim. There is a circular path around the pad and its easy to climb up to the top where you are able to enjoy views over glasgow and as far as Arran and beyond to the south, weather permitting! This area is easy to reach by public transport and just a short walk from the train station in Neilston with a few other caches to collect on the way. The cache it's self is 500ml cylindrical, screw top container with room for swaps and TBs. The log is inside another small container inside to try and keep it dry and there is a pencil to sign with. It is just off a well worn path but can often be quite muddy so wellies or boots might be a good idea. Sometimes in the summer there are sheep and cows up here.
