El próximo día 13 de abril se celebra en todo el mundo el 11º Encuentro Anual Dönerstag.
"Dönerstag" comenzó en 2007, cuando geocachers alemanes se reunieron en restaurantes de kebab alrededor del país todos al mismo tiempo. El evento se convirtió en tradición!
Estos eventos especiales se celebran cada año en jueves. En alemán, esto hace que el nombre "Dönerstag" sea un juego de palabras: La palabra alemana para el jueves es "Donnerstag". La traducción de kebab es "Döner".
El año pasado, más de 6000 jugadores participaron en 233 eventos de Dönerstag que se celebraron en toda Europa, desde Alemania y Austria hasta el Reino Unido y Suiza.
Nosotros no queremos ser menos, así que hemos preparado este evento aprovechando nuestras pequeñas vacaciones en Yecla y Alicante. Nos reuniremos a las 09:00 AM en el Restaurante Los Chispos para almorzar (quien quiera), intercambiar rastreables y charlar un rato sobre nuestra afición. Sobre las 10:30 AM daremos por finalizado el encuentro. Esperamos que os animéis y podamos conocer a muchos equipos de la zona! On the 13th of April the 11th Annual Dönerstag Meeting will take place around the world.
"Dönerstag" began in 2007, when German geocachers met at kebab restaurants around the country all at the same time. The event became a tradition!
These special events are held every year on Thursday. In German, this makes the name "Dönerstag" a play on words: The German word for Thursday is "Donnerstag". The translation of kebab is "Döner".
Last year, over 6000 players participated in 233 Dönerstag events held throughout Europe, from Germany and Austria to the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
We do not want to be less, so we have prepared this event taking advantage of our small holidays in Yecla and Alicante. We will meet at 09:00 AM in the Restaurant Los Chispos to have lunch (who wants), exchange trackable items and talk for a while about our hobby. At 10:30 AM we will finish the meeting.
