Where:
The Hooton, Hooton Rd, Wirral, (Use CH66 7NL in satnavs)
If coming by car, this is just under 1 mile from junction 5 of the M53.
It is also next to Hooton railway station for those coming from Liverpool or Chester by train
This country pub is also at the end of the 12-mile Wirral Way. For anyone wishing to spend the day walking the Wirral Way, finding all 80 caches in the Wirral Way Series (plus some others placed before that series) the train can be used to get from Hooton to the far end at West Kirby, changing in Birkenhead.
Details:
Join ourselves and other members of the Wirral Gnome Society and Cheshire Gnome Trust for an evening of fun at Hooton, Wirral. We have been allocated the conservatory so have the room to ourselves for the usual geo-chat and trackable swapping. Food is available throughout the evening for those wanting to eat
After the success of the recent “Night at the Shrew” event, we’ll again have a fun quiz. Entry is of course optional, as is partaking in the card bingo and raffle (donations most welcome). Please state in your will attend log the number of adults and children planning to attend, and whether you plan to eat, so we can keep the Hooton informed of numbers
