McManus Traditional Cache

Bohsdee and I had found the nearby cache at the Drum monastic settlement GC71JMF and visited the Drum heritage centre afterwards. We spent a good hour there chatting with the four lads who run the place. One of them took us in his car to visit a few of the local historical sites and this was one of them.

The houses and ruins of the hamlet of Ardnanure survive as monuments to the generations of McManus families who occupied them over the last 250 years. At the cache you will see a sign which explains all about the history of this spot. I thought it was fascinating to see the hamlet essentialy still standing. You are looking for a magnetic nano.
