Le Cascate di Caselli sono senza dubbio uno spettacolo naturale tra i più belli della zona.
Immerse nel verde della Riserva Naturale di Monterufoli-Caselli,sono formate dal Torrente Sterza nel Comune di Moneteverdi Marittimo (PI).
Si accede attraverso un ampio stradone sterrato che parte in prossimità del parcheggio, a poche centinaia di metri dalla Strada Provinciale dei Quattro Comuni. Lasciata l'auto al parcheggio,dopo pochi metri si trova una sbarra che vieta l'accesso ai mezzi non autorizzati,per cui si deve procedere a piedi o in Mountain Bike. Basta seguire la strada più esterna ( a sinistra ) ad ogni bivio ed in circa 40 minuti si arriva al viottolo finale che porta alle Cascate. Le pendenze sono impegnative solo nel primo tratto dopodichè la camminata è molto agevole per cui la consiglio anche alle famiglie. Non è difficile incontrare varie specie animali ai margini del bosco (cinghiali,volpi,scoiattoli...) .Intorno si ammirano tanti tipi di vegetazione tipica del posto, dalla macchia folta con relativi alberi ,alle felci.
Una volta arrivati al bivio finale che porta alle Cascate, si raccomanda di fare attenzione lungo il sentiero specie nei periodi di maggiore umidità onde evitare scivolate pericolose.
La cache è un tupperware trasparente medio contenente penna, logbook, coccarda premio per il FTF ed un Geocoin. E' nascosta un pò prima della fine delle scalette sulla destra.Buona Caccia !!!
Importante!!! In fondo dove si trovano le cascate non vi sarà molto segnale per i cellulari quindi vi consiglio di utilizzare gli aiuti.

The Caselli Falls are without a doubt one of the most beautiful natural scenery of the area.
Sited in the green of the Natural Reserve of Monterufoli-Caselli, they are formed from Steccaia Creek in the country of Moneteverdi Marittimo (PI).
It's possible to access through a large dirt road that starts near the parking lot, a few hundred meters from the Provincial Road of the Quattro Comuni. Leave the car at the car park, after a few meters there is a bar that prohibits access to unauthorized vehicles, for which must be walk on foot or by bike. Just follow the outer road (left) at every crossroads and in about 40 minutes to reach the final path that leads to the Falls. The slopes are binding only in the first section after which the walk is very smooth so it's very good to families. It is not difficult to meet various animal species to the forest (wild boars, foxes, squirrels ...). Around you can admire many types of typical vegetation, with thick bush with its trees, the ferns.
Once arrived to the final junction leading to the Falls, is recommended to be careful especially during periods of high humidity to prevent dangerous slips.
The cache is a transparent medium tupperware containing pen, logbook, geocoin and a prize for the FTF Geocoin. It's hidden a little before the end of the ladders on the right side .Good Hunting !!!
