Dönerstag began in 2007 when German cachers met at kebab shops around the country all at the same time. The tradition caught on!
These special events are held each year on a Thursday. In German, this makes the name “Dönerstag” a pun: The German word for Thursday is “Donnerstag.” Kebab translates to “Döner.”
Last year, over 6000 players attended 233 Dönerstag events. The events were held all over Europe, from Germany and Austria to the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
As Signal is out traveling the World he is adding in the Donnerstag festivities by offering a souviner to everyone that attends. As I emjoyed and our family LOVES Doner Kababs I just had to do an event. So I looked and looked but we don't have a German or Doner Resturant in Manhattan or anywhere in the local area. So thanks to the idea of a dear friend the perfect location was discovered; since we can't fit in to the theme of Donnerstag we are going to celebrate Signal by meeting up at Froggy's is St Mary's
Where: Froggy's (311 E Bertrand Ave; Saint Marys, Kansas 66536)
