Geocache Description:


This park, together with the neighboring VA property, has one of the largest herds of deer, in a small confined area, I have seen. They are not afraid of vehicles and I have had to wait until they moved out of the way while driving along some of the roads.

While picking this location I spooked about a dozen of them and they all headed east towards the water. That is all except one,... that one came right towards me. I stood still and it finally stopped about 30-40 feet away. I waved my hands and it ran away. Be on the lookout for the herd and enjoy your time in the woods.

This cache was approved by the Town of Perryville.
