Cleaning up Cowtown! Cache In Trash Out® Event

Cache In Trash Out® (CITO) is an environmental initiative supported by the geocaching community.

Since 2002, CITO has helped preserve the natural beauty of cache-friendly spaces.

In that time, more than 240,000 people have volunteered at  more than 11,000 CITO events!

Check in will begin at 7:45am.

Various sized T-shirts will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis (so you may want to be on time)!

The gloves provided are one-size-fits-all and grabbers are limited; so for those experienced CITO cachers, feel free to bring your own gloves and grabbers!

All participants will be asked to sign in and provide a emergency contact number.  After everyone has checked in, it will be time for a quick announcement with the rules of the CITO.  Our area of responsibility will be announced on site.

We will be working in a widely-varied environment.  Expect trees, thorns, possible Poison Ivy, possible snakes and many other natural obstacles. You'll need to 'govern yourself accordingly'!

CITO clean up is from around 8am to 11am.

There are no souvenirs available this time around - but - participants will recieve coupons valid for local restaurants.
