Esta ubicación ha despertado mi interés debido a las vistas en Lanzarote.
Jameos ha sido una palabra extranjera para mí, pero visitando un caché cercano me encontré con este fantástico descanso en un túnel de lava que simplemente ganó el estatus de un caché de tierra.
La palabra Jameo proviene del vocabulario de los guanches y significa tanto como cavidad o depresión en el suelo.
En Lanzarote este término está vinculado a un agujero en el techo de un túnel, que ha sido creado por el flujo de lava. Estos túneles fueron formados por lava que se enfrió en la superficie por debajo de la cual la lava líquida continuó fluyendo. Así quedó una cavidad. Estos tubos de lava se rompen en algunos lugares debido al material poroso parcial y por lo tanto permiten una vista dentro del fascinante inframundo.
Los más famosos de los Jameos son los Jameos del Agua y la Cueva de los Verdes, que forman parte del sistema de cuevas en el campo de lava de Montaña Corona.
Usted llevaís usar zapatos sólidos en su camino a la caché.
La cueva no se debe entrar en este punto porque no se estabiliza, lo que significa que existe un peligro para la vida !!!

This location has aroused my interest because of the great sights on Lanzarote.
Jameos has been a foreign word to me, but visiting a nearby cache I came across this fantastic break in a lava tunnel that simply earned the status of an earth cache.
The word Jameo stems from the vocabulary of the Guanches and means as much as cavity or depression in the ground.
On Lanzarote this term is linked to a hole in the ceiling of a tunnel, which has been created by lava flow. These tunnels were formed by lava that cooled on the surface below which the liquid lava continued to flow. Thus a cavity remained. These lava tubes break in some places due to the partial porous material and thus allow a view inside of the fascinating underworld.
The most famous of the Jameos are the Jameos del Agua and the Cueva de los Verdes, which are part of the cave system in the lava field of Montaña Corona.
You should wear solid shoes on your way to the cache.
The cave must not be entered at this point because it is not stabilized, which means that there is a danger to life!!!

Diese Örtlichkeit hat mein Interesse geweckt aufgrund der tollen Sehenswürdigkeiten auf Lanzarote.
Jameos war für mich ein Fremdwort, aber durch den Besuch eines in der Nähe liegenden Caches bin ich auf diesen fantastischen Einbruch eines Lavatunnels gestoßen, der einfach den Status eines Earthcaches verdient hat.
Das Wort Jameo stammt aus dem Wortschatz der Guanchen und bedeutet so viel wie Hohlraum oder Vertiefung im Erdboden.
Auf Lanzarote steht dieser Begriff fast immer im Zusammenhang mit einem Loch in der Decke eines Tunnels, der durch Lavafluss entstanden ist. Diese Tunnel bildeten sich durch an der Oberfläche erkaltete Lava, unter der die noch flüssige Lava weiterfließen konnte und durch deren Abfluss dann ein Hohlraum zurückgeblieben ist. Diese so entstandenen Lavaröhren brechen an manchen Stellen aufgrund des teilweise porösen Materials ein und erlauben so einen Einblick in die faszinierende Unterwelt.
Die bekannteste der Jameos sind die Jameos del Agua und die Cueva de los Verdes, die zum Höhlensystem im Lavafeld des Montaña Corona liegen.
Ihr solltet festes Schuhwerk tragen auf dem Weg zum Cache.
!!!Die Höhle darf und muss an dieser Stelle nicht betreten werden, denn sie ist nicht stabilisiert, wodurch Lebensgefahr besteht!!!

4) Welcher Vulkan ist für die Entstehung dieser geologischen Erscheinung verantwortlich?
Bitte macht ein Foto von euch oder eurem GPS vor der Vertiefung und fügt es eurem Logeintrag bei. (Dies ist optional und beeinflusst nicht euren Logeintrag.)
