It was a nice day so Mrs F (Entwifexx) and I were out for a bit of exercise (and her picking up some caches along the way). This path along the edge of the A1(M) seemed a little devoid of caches, so here is one. It is about 2km by public paths from the nearest parking spots, so a bit of walking required out and back if you are only doing this cache. It can of course be combined with others on the various paths nearby if you have not found them before. DO NOT try to reach this from the Motorway - it is illegal.
The cache is placed in a little landscaping wood very close to the path (about 3 metres). The container is unusual especially for this sort of place, but you will understand the cache name when you find the container. The log is in a small screwcap tube and you will need to bring a pen (which you should have with you if you are caching). It is a good walk, and the paths may be slippery so be prepared. Possibly stroller friendly if you have the off-road type.
