Cache #4 in our Discworld series, placed out on 12th March 2017, to mark the anniversary of the death of Sir Terry Pratchett

*** FTF*** Congratulations Badcats

"Soul Music" tells the story of Rock 'n' Roll's brief appearance on the Disc. Imp y Celyn (aka Bud of the Holly) emigrates from Llamedos to Ankh-Morpork, with a harp as his only hope of making money. He meets a dwarf horn player, Glod Glodsson, and a troll percussionist, Lias 'Cliff' Bluestone, and they apply to join the Musician's Guild, only to discover that the malicious secretary, Clete, charges a ridiculously high memebrship fee.

This cache is situated within the Boscombe and Southbourne Overcliff Park, by kind permission of Bournemouth Borough Council. The park is a Site of Nature Conservation Interest offering fine views of the Isle of White to the left, all the way to Old Harry's Rocks and the Purbecks to the right.

You could also take a short detour at this point to visit the site of a 1946 murder, one of Lost2011’s excellent Bournemouth at War series
