Con questa cache spero di far conoscere qualche cenno storico di San Bonifacio.
STEP-1 Vi trovate vicino ai muri dell'ex tiro a segno presente a San Bonifacio. Di questo impianto oggi resta solo l'edificio che era una volta l'ingresso ed i muri dove venivano posizionati i bersagli.
STEP-2 Ora siete sull'argine del torrente Alpone dove è stato rimosso il vecchio ponte metallico che mette in collegamento il centro di San Bonifacio con la località Motta.
STEP-3 Vi trovate adesso in Piazza Costituzione (una volta Piazza Vittorio Emanuele) dove come da testimonianze storiche si possono vedere alcuni segni del secondo conflitto mondiale. "[...]Proveniente da Verona, una colonna di Americani è a Villanova e in un paio d'ore mette in funzione un ponte d'emergenza sull'Alpone sotto gli occhi meravigliati della gente che è accorsa a salutarli; nel pomeriggio sono nella piazza del paese dove si ricongiungono con il grosso della truppa che sale da Arcole. E' a questo punto che da Monteforte qualche colpo di cannone tedesco scheggia uno spigolo del campanile, ma finisce subito perchè i partigiani di quel paese aggrediscono gli artiglieri tedeschi mettendoli a tacere e tenendoli progionieri[...]"
STEP-4 Spostatevi ora ai piedi del campanile dove è possibile osservare un'antico altare Romano utilizzato negli ultimi lavori di restauro del campanile.
STEP-5 Poco distante dalla piazza del paese in questo edificio oggi riconvertito a negozi vi era il Teatro Adelfico.
STEP-6 La stazione di San Bonifacio è rimasta pressochè invariata negli anni ma in tutto questo tempo è cresciuto un grande albero nel piccolo parco adiacente.

With this cache I hope to make known some historical information about San Bonifacio.
STEP-1 You are close to the walls of the former shooting in San Bonifacio. Today remains only the entrance building of this structure.
STEP-2 Now you are on the bank of the river Alpone where was removed the old metal bridge that connect San Bonifacio center with Motta locality.
STEP-3 You are now in the Constitution Square (called before Vittorio Emanuele Square) where according to historical records you can see some signs of World War II. "[...]Coming from Verona, a column of Americans is in Villanova and in a couple of hours put into operation an emergency bridge across river Alpone under the astonished eyes of the people who rushed to greet them, in the afternoon Americans are in the town square where you rejoin the bulk of the troops that climbs from Arcole. It's at this point that by Monteforte some stroke of German cannon splinter an edge of the bell tower, but ends up immediately because the partisans of that country attack the German gunners putting them at shut up and holding them captives [...]"
STEP-4 Move now to the foot of the tower where you can see an ancient Roman altar used in the last restoration of the bell tower.
STEP-5 Not far from the town square in this building now converted to shop there was the Adelfico theater.
STEP-6 The San Bonifacio station has Remained almost unchanged over the years but in That Time has grown to large tree in the small adjacent park.
