In 1931, the Fox Theater opened on land that was once the Charles M. Bair family homestead. In 1987, the theater was renamed for Charles's daughter Alberta, who had donated much-needed funding for renovation of the theater. Today the Alberta Bair theater is the largest in the region, and hosts a variety of concerts and theatrical performances throughout the year.
