Kilmister Block is a 5.3km track that follows a creek through a valley within Belmont Regional Park. It is a mixture of single track and farm track, and crosses the aforementioned creek multiple times before joining up with Belmont Road and Murphy's Track.
This cache is designed to help you take the correct track from the carpark itself. Follow the creek as it winds its way down the valley, ignoring the farm track that heads up a hill. You will soon encounter the first of several easy creek crossings - great fun for young and old alike! My geokids certainly love pulling on their gumboots and "fording the river" under their own steam :-)
Please replace and cover the cache exactly as found - this is an easy one close to the track, but we don't want it left out in plain site.
The cache is a camoed Marmite container that when placed contained a logbook and a few child-friendly swappables. Please bring your own writing stick.
