Dönerstag is a tradition among German geocachers - it takes place on Maundy Thursday, and geocachers meet in a kebab shop - Döner is German for kebab, and Donnerstag is German for Thursday - there is a bit of a play on words here! Signal the Frog is discovering geocaching customs around the world, and this is the first one - and a new souvenir is available for attending an event on this day!
The event will be held in the Rose Salterne, Bridgland Street, Bideford, Thursday 13th April, from 6pm until 9pm.
We especially welcome any newcomers to the area, and any geocachers who are visiting the area at this time of year. Come along and meet us - you don't have to stay for the whole evening.
