AT THE END OF THE KLEIN (LAKE) Traditional Cache

This is our first attempt at a geocache and is a traditional cache. It will taek you on a gravel road or alternatively you can hike into the lake via the Suncoaster Trail system (http://www.scrd.ca/Suncoaster-Trail). Be sure to complete the logbook. Take one and leave one. Feed back always welcome. Good Luck.

This cache will find you in a remote area of the Sunshine Coast.

BY ROAD: You leave will leave Egmont Road on to N. Lake Road. Travel approximately 1.3 Km and stay right. This will be a well maintained forest service road (from Egmont Road) up to Klien Lake and the cache. When you reach the lake (@ 3.1 Km), take the right fork, but feel free to explore the area. At 3.5 km the road will end at a picnic site and a little dock on the lake.

BY TRAIL: Park at the trailhead, located at Sunshine Coast Hwy and Egmont Road. The trail is 3 km each way and has moderately steep terrain. When the trail terminates at the gravel road, turn right, and follow it to the picnic area at the end of the road (est another .3km).

There is rustic camping at this lake and some great hiking and scenery. It is managed by the Regional District. Please attempt to keep up the 'quality' of the cache.
