Dust off your capes and bust out the spandex!! Geocachers are teaming up with "Be The Change" for the 3rd Annual Super Cleanup Saturday where we will embark on a mission across Freeport to FIGHT GRIME by tackling litter in the community. Attending will earn participants the special CITO 2017 souvenir on their geocaching profile!

As with previous years, all volunteers are invited to come dressed as their favorite super hero or simply in favorite hero attire. This could mean masks, capes, costumes, T-shirts, ball caps, or anything representing super heroes! Dressing in hero wear is encouraged but not required to participate. This is a FREE event for ALL AGES.
At 10am, we will meet for a short KICKOFF near the play park at the WEST end of Read Park (corner of American and McKinley). Immediately following the KICKOFF, we will break into groups and disperse all across town to show Freeport some love by cleaning up litter. With every piece we clean, we are showing our community just how much we care! The CITO will last until noon.
Supplies and litter pickers will be on hand at the kickoff. Volunteers are welcome to take breaks for lunch or rest as they please. Volunteers are encouraged to dress in super hero wear such as Batman/Superman/Wonder Woman shirts, or even costumes, but hero attire is not required. Volunteers can come as they are! We ask all participants to use their own caution and judgement when clearing litter.
