This is the first in a series of 10 Caches set in The National Trust's belton Park Land.
It begins in the car park to Bellmount Tower and takes a 2 mile route up to the tower and around Bellmount wood and back to the start.
The car park is free, and the walk is regularly enjoyed by dog walkers, nature lovers and families trying to burn off some of the little ones energy.
The Tower was built between 1742 and 1752 for the Brownlow family and can be seen from Belton house all the way across the park and up the eastern avenue of trees.
There is quite a steep hill to climb to get up to the tower, but is all easy terrain after that. It can get very muddy when the weather has been wet, so suitable footwear is advised.
Some of the caches are nano logs and you will need to bring a pair of tweezers or something to get the log out and something to sign it.
Thanks for trying these hides and I hope you enjoy them.
I have named the cache this because it is both my first cache and it is where you all have to start the trail.
It is a small camoflaged cylinder container.
