Geocache Description:

not a cache and dash

we came to this location while doing a footpath survey for derbyshire county council back in november 2016. the path runs WE from the cache site through a small wood to connect with a path running NS on the eastern edge of the wood. however if you take the path you will find it vanishes about 20m or so short of the junction with the NS path forcing you to weave a way through the trees if you want to reach it. unsurprisingly this path failed the inspection. anyway we remembered thinking at the time this would be a good cache site so have finally got round to placing one here. the cache itself is a micro with logsheet only so please bring your own pen/pencil, tweezers may be useful. it should be opened without removing from its fastening and please leave the cache exactly as you find it. at the time of placing the approaches to gz were very muddy making wellies the sensible option. in summer nettles and other vegetation might prove tricky. no hint for now, please message us with any concerns or problems with the cache. good luck and happy caching.
