Geocache Description:

Mud Tank is one of many caches on the Outback Way-finder Trail - the longest Geocache Trail in the world. The Outback Way is one of Australia’s great four wheel drive odysseys. Known as ‘Australia’s Longest Shortcut’, the route runs between Western Australia and Queensland. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

This cache is placed at the junction of the Plenty hwy and the Southern section of Binns Track.

Back in the 1960's this was a major meeting point for the pastoralists. If you needed something you would meet at the Major crossroads. "See you at Mud tank"
