Pod gorami, sredi gozda, brez napisov, skrivnostna, malo obiskana, s slabo potjo do tja in verjetno še od boga pozabljena – to je cerkev sv. Lenarta. A vendar ena najlepših v zgornjesoški dolini.
Na levi strani nad cesto med Bovcem in Klužami, na Ravnah, se nahaja obnovljena gotska cerkev sv. Lenarta in je s svojim oltarnim delom usmerjena proti vzhodu. Zgrajena je bila po letu 1550, torej v času po turških vpadih, ko je bil v ljudeh še vedno prisoten strah pred divjimi hordami, zato je lokacija cerkvice nekoliko skrita. Pred obnovo so bile ohranjene še zunanje stene cerkve, na katerih je moč videti dele rebrastega stropa in značilni portal s šilastim obokom.

Auf der linken Seite der Straße zwischen Bovec und Kluže befindet sich die restaurierte gotische Kirche des Heiligen Leonard mit ihrem nach Osten gerichteten Altar. Sie wurde nach dem Jahr 1550 gebaut, also zur Zeit der Türkeneinfälle, als die Menschen noch Angst vor den Angriffen wilder Horden hatten. Deswegen liegt die Kirche auch so versteckt. Vor der Restaurierung waren nur die Außenwände der Kirche erhalten, auf denen noch Teile der Rippendecke zu sehen sind. Das Spitzbogenportal ist ein weiteres interessantes Merkmal dieser geheimnisvollen kleinen Kirche.
