Players then place their wagers on whether the sum total of numbers showing on the two dice will be "Cho" (even) or "Han" (odd). The dealer then removes the cup, displaying the dice. The winners collect their money.
Depending on the situation, the dealer will sometimes act as the house, collecting all losing bets. But more often, the players will bet against each other (this requires an equal number of players betting on odd and even) and the house will collect a set percentage of winning bets.
The game was a mainstay of the bakuto, itinerant gamblers in old Japan, and is still played by the modern yakuza. In a traditional Chou-Han setting, players sit on a tatami floor. The dealer sits in the formal seiza position and is often shirtless (to prevent accusations of cheating), exposing his elaborate tattoos.
Many Japanese films, especially chambara and yakuza movies, feature Cho-Han scenes. It is also a playable minigame in most of the Japanese video-games in the Ryu ga Gotoku (Yakuza) series.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL with the containers and hide exactly as you found them. If the container is damaged or missing, DO NOT replace them!!!!!! As you can see there are special containers for this Geo Art! Please just log a DNF and move on.
This Geo Art series is in honor of all the games we played growing up that involve dice. There are 32 caches that make up the outer sides of the dice as well as the 2 center "Snake Eyes" This is the new and improved Dice Series Geo Art. In March 2017 while performing a maintenance run with all new containers, I discovered due to the harsh rains of winter some areas had been washed away. So since I was already upping the Difficulty, I needed to up the Terrain as well. So the old Dice Series was archived and 2.0 was born!
For the most part all GZ's are the same, or off 3 - 6 feet. Again, if the container is missing, DO NOT replace them. There are special containers for this Geo Art! That is why the Difficulty is high. Please just log a DNF and move on. Logs from throw downs/replacements will be deleted!

This area is prone to various wildlife and other assorted desert creatures. While placing we saw rabbits, lizards and were attacked by fire ants. Remember, you are invading they're habitat! Please be considerate. I designed most of this series to be done by driving on roads and marked paths. DO NOT drive on unmarked areas. The caches are NOT in anyone's front yard so please do not disturb those that live here. They are aware of the series and don't mind as long as people are responsible and polite.
Also, make sure you have plenty of water especially in April through October as it gets very hot!
