B12 vitamini, insanları yorgun ve zayıf düşüren bir kansızlık türünü önlemeye de yardımcı olur. B12 vitamini birçok hayvansal gıdada doğal olarak bulunur. Bazı takviye edilmiş besinlere de eklenir ve çoklu vitamin takviyelerinin çoğunda bulunur.
