This cache is temporarily unavailable.

Seasand: Regretfully we are disabling this series for the time being. The paths are very difficult to navigate at the moment and the bridges are n a poor state of repair. We will be contacting South Gloucestershire council asking for bridge repairs.

Geocache Description:

From #03 you will continue along a short stretch of permissive path through a gate and turn right onto the footpath which is also a farm driveway. Please be aware this is often used by horses and pedestrians as well as farm traffic.

Mr S. has his roots in farming and used to farm in this area. He likes a bit of a ramble in the countryside and thought this would make a good Caching round. The walk is about 5 kms between Earthcott and Gaunt's Earthcott. It is mainly across farmland and you are likely to encounter livestock - particularly cattle and horses - please take care, especially with geodogs. In places it will be wet and muddy!

After #14 you will follow a farm track rather than the marked footpath - permission has been given for this.

The walk is fairly level, but is not buggy friendly as there are several styles and gates to negotiate. Sorry, this route is not suitable for cycling or night caching. Please bring your own pen and an OS Explorer Map 167 may be helpful.

PLEASE LEAVE GATES AS YOU FIND THEM

Care needed on the road it is a bit of a 'rat run' at times
