Located at the Col. Leo Sidney Boston War Memorial. The Memorial Park honors the thousands of veterans from in and around Fremont County that served their country during times of war; some from as far back as the Colonial Army of the American Revolution.
Col. Leo Sidney Boston was shot down over Vietnam on April 29, 1966 while on a rescue mission for another downed pilot. He remained missing until 2011 when his remains were returned to his family.
Take a few minutes to read the informational signs and reflect on the sacrifices made in defense of our country. There are picnic tables (but no shade) if you care to sit for a while.
