The church:
The first St. Leonard's church was built on this site in the 1100s and at the time St. Leonard's was the smallest parish in Devon. Construction of the current building began in 1876, with the chancel being built first, and the rest of the building following ten years later at a cost of £6,700. The 145ft spire was added later still and was not until 1902 that the vestry was added.
The cache:
I usually make my Church Micros multis, but the lack of a graveyard meant there was little to base a multi around that couldn't simply be found online via street photography. So I've gone with a straightforward traditional cache here.
You're looking for a small circular container containing just a log. Please use stealth when finding this cache as it is right next to a busy road, and replace as found.
