Geocache Description:

A replacement cache for Craig Fowler's Kelligrews Soiree (A.K.A. The Music Cache) (GC1R9RZ), now Archived.

Craig wrote:

Not sure why I never thought about this one before now.
I have always loved music and very recently I started learning how to play guitar. This inspired my latest cache idea based on music. The cache contents all relate to music in some way, shape or form. Even the placement of the cache was inspired by a famous Newfoundland tune “The Kelligrews Soiree” written by Johnny Burke. There is an annual event named after this song held in the community of Kelligrews in the town of Conception Bay South.
Cache contents when placed:
There was birch rine, tar twine, cherry wine and turpentine
Jowls and cavalances, ginger beer and tea
Pigs' feet, cat meat, dumplings boiled in a sheet
Dandelion and crackey's teeth at the Kelligrews soiree.
Just kidding!! None of those items can be found in the cache.

Craig's cache was lost when Water and Sewer services were installed through the area, I have replaced with a smaller container, on the hill, overlooking the river.  As a side note, the Kiwani's swimming pool is nearby; a place we often visited as kids.
