Max's Cache 2 - Ridgeway Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
A cache hidden along a bridleway we often walk with our dogs and our pony, Max. There are lovely views to the Quantocks - at least when the hedges are low. If doing the caches in numerical order, it makes for a circular walk. From cache 1, continue on the bridleway until you reach the road. Turn left up the hill and, just after passing a house on the right, you will see a wooden gate onto a footpath. (Alternatively, you can carry on a further 50 yards up the road and take the bridleway on the right, but this is a far more muddy option). If taking the footpath, follow the markers until you reach some steep earth steps leading to the edge of a field. Go straight across the field (there is a trail right through the crop), aiming to an opening in the hedge at the other side, where you will join the bridleway mentioned above. Turn right onto the bridleway to get to the cache site. You are looking for a small cylindrical container. Please replace carefully.
