CM 01 - CORPS EMBLEM
The sword symbolizes the sovereignty of the nations as well as the striking and command power of the army in general and the corps in particular. The shape is derived from the so-called Send sword that has been hanging from the façade of the Münster town hall during the festival for the last 400 years. The cuffs of the gloves are in the colours of the Duch and the German flags. The Latin words “Communitate Valemus” means “Strong together”. The background colour of the coat of arms is olive green, associated with the army.
