Great opportunity for beginners to meet up with seasoned cachers to try out searching with their new high tech toys.
The colorful egg hunt will be available for families and suitable for kids of all ages.
NAMETAGS, Some make their own Team name tags, but blank "my name is" stick ons will be available to help in your meet and greet activities.
FOOD and refreshments include hot chocolate to complement the bring-a-snack table for which you are welcome to bake or buy, and hot dishes are always welcome.
TRAVEL BUG exchange table, as well as a TB discovery table, will be available. To facilitate smooth transfer, please consider posting a note (or will attend) in advance to drop the TBs you will be bringing. If you have an extra one to drop, that will allow a newcomer to grab one if they can help it along. There will be a TB Sign In/Out sheet, so please sign them in and out. We use this for answering any questions that arise during the week to follow. Log TBs out on website as soon as you can, but do allow some time if they were not dropped early.
OPTIONAL CACHE ITEM exchange will be a geo swap. In the spirit of the hobby, you are invited to bring any type of trade items (with value about $5) either gift wrapped or not. At about 2:45pm, we will start drawing one name at a time for someone who is in the room to pick out an item, then pick the next name. To make it easy on everyone, you must be present to win!
