Owen Springs Reserve comprises an area ranging from riverine and mallee woodland to mulga shrubland and native grasslands.
4WD is essential past the information sign. Bush camping is allowed on the Reserve in designated areas.
The road from the turnoff to the information shelter is not suitable for caravans and is corrugated.
