Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the listed coordinates, but it is nearby

While on a trip to New Zealand, I came across a new number puzzle game, called Sujiken, that is similar to Sudoku, but with a twist.

I was so impressed with the style of puzzle, I asked the CO to create some for use in Australia. This is a nice simple one

The rules for Sujiken are simple, and are as follows:

  1. The goal is to fill all empty cells in the Sujiken board shown below.
  2. Place the digits from 1 to 9 so no digit is repeated within a horizontal row, vertical column, or diagonal in any direction.
  3. No digit is repeated within the three triangular regions and the three 3x3 square regions marked by thick borders.
  4. You can logically determine the solution without guessing.
  5. Each puzzle has only one solution.

The final cache is located at

S 23 56.ABC

E 132 48.XYZ

A = F3 - I1

B = A1 + C6

C = A4 + A9

X = G2 - A1

Y = B3 - C7

Z = G3 - B7
