Geocache Description:

The cache is a black petling near the one-ear buddha. You find the cache in a hole under a tree with white marked roots (see spoiler). Be carefull when you grab in the hole. Make sure, that there are no dangerous animals inside.

From the cache location you have a beautiful view to the Kothaung Paya temple. One of Mrauk U’s star attractions, Kothaung Paya is also the area's largest temple. It was built in 1553 by King Minbin’s son, King Mintaikkha, to outdo his dad’s Shittaung by 10,000 images (‘Kothaung’ means ‘Shrine of 90,000 Images’).

Close to the cache is a buddha on a small hill. This hill is also good for sunset and sunrise.

This is the first cache in Mrauk-U!

Have fun
