On the costal way towards Cape Sounio, coming from Athens through Saronida, you will pass by the Katafygi Bay, where, on a small Promontory, the nice little Church dedicated to the Virgin Katafygiotissa is located. It has been built approx 10 years ago and the walls / ceiling inside the church have been decorated with frescoes by the famous Greek painter Dimitris Mytaras, who passed away last February.
Not far away from the church, in a panoramic position, you can find the GZ.
The Cache: it is a small plastic cylinder, containing the logbook and a pencil, it is anyhow suggested to carry with you your own pen, just in case. You are kindly requested, after your log , to position back the cache, exactly as you found it, thanks.
