Solid Manzanita Traditional Cache

I wanted to place a few caches along this stretch of the Priest Rock trail. It had an entire mile of bare space! What's up with that? But now I understand why. This whole section of the trail has brush growing right up to the edges, and it looks like it's cleared regularly. Where to hide a cache that wouldn't be subject to being chopped down the next time the trail crews came through? 

Finally I spotted a small grove of solid-looking manzanita trees set back a few feet from the trail, without much brush growing in front of or around them. Perfect!

You're looking for a camo'd pill bottle hanging just inside the manzanita branches. You don't need to go more than a few steps from the trail to reach it. 

Sierra Azul is open from dawn to one-half hour after sunset. Happy hunting!
