Geocache Description:

I was heading down the Priest Rock trail after a long hike, looking for a great spot to hide my last cache container. This one was my favorite, and it needed the perfect place. I recycled it from an old cache that I archived, and the artwork on the container is courtesy of a mysterious artist who could have muggled my cache, but didn't. He/she just decorated it and carefully returned it to its hiding spot.

This big open area is a great spot to stop for a break if you're headed up, or to collapse in exhaustion if you're on your way back down. I did the latter. The cache is a medium-sized lock & lock hidden under a bush. There's some PO in the general area, but none close to the cache. It's tucked under the bush covered with natural camo. (Update: I had to replace the container a while back, so the artwork is sadly gone. It's just a boring container now.)

Sierra Azul is open from dawn to one-half hour after sunset.

Enjoy the beautiful view and the comfortable resting spot!
