There used to be a cache at the end of the road closer to the beach. It had a catchier name! But, it got swept away, either by Hurricane Hermine or the clean-up. It was not my cache, but I checked on it regularly and was always surprised it was still there - it is a high muggle area. At this time there is a major shore restoration project underway and there might be workers at the beach itself. So, the cache is mid-way between the road and the beach. A VERY short walk even from the road in the event the Pedestrians Only sign is out. It is a very interesting project and worth checking out. I apologize in advance for the hide - not my favorite, but I did it anyway.
BYOP. Not having writing tool will not fly. It is geocaching conventional wisdom to carry at least two! Lost them all? Find a way to make a distinctive mark and describe it. Log maintenance is always appreciated. DNF? Log it and please no throw-downs.
