This is another addition to the Church Micro series. This is a mystery cache, you are looking for a nano container hidden less than 15 minutes walk away from the gospel hall itself. This cache is not hidden on church grounds.
Some of the puzzle can be done at home, but some questions will need to be answered by a visit to the starting location.
It has been very difficult to find information about this church - even the redoubtable Simon Knott has nothing to say on the subject. I've lived in Stowmarket for a couple of years, have set caches at most of the local churches, and was still unaware of its existence until recently!
This is a simple puzzle and the final location is less than 15 minutes walk away, on paved paths. It is suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs as there are no flights of steps to negotiate.
Physical - you'll need to visit the building to get the answers to these questions:
A = How many panes of glass are in the main doors facing onto Violet Hill Road (and no, you can't see them from Streetview!)
B = The Sunday service at 11am has how many words in its title?
C= Friday Club is open to children starting at what age?
Spiritual - some simple questions about the gospels of the New Testament
X = Which chapter in Matthew describes the visit of the magi ?
Y = The gospel writers are traditionally symbolised by winged creatures. What creature symbolises John? Count the number of letters in this creature's name
Z = How many sons are mentioned in Luke 15:11?
The co-ordinates of the final location are
North 52° 11.B (A/2) X East 000° 59. Y C Z
This cache is not hidden on church grounds. The container is a magnetic nano. Please be aware that this is a busy area. Stealth will be required! Please keep a hold of geo-kids and geo-pets.
The co-ordinates were averaged from several readings, please let me know if you have any corrections.
