W.G. Jones State Forest And Geocaching 101 Event Cache

The head Forest Ranger at Jones State Forest has asked if he could get at least 10 cachers from our geocaching community to help him for a geocaching teaching and tour at the forest. He asked "There will be 140 students broken into small teams with teacher and or parents. Each team walks the trail/road and locates a geocache and does the activity.  We need an "expert" to help guide them and explain geocaching and make sure they use their gps correctly." There will be 140 8th grade students with teachers and parents. 

I told him we would be happy to assist him. There are 85 caches in the forest and 1 benchmark.

Time:    9:00am to 1:00pm (You do not have to stay the whole time)

Come and have fun in the forest and you might want to bring water and snacks or lunch.
