Geocache Description:

This should be a very easy cache in a very open space. This is the first cache of my Alligator vs Crocodile series. The purpose of this series is to teach geocachers the 4 main differences between the two animals. I could never tell them apart so this will help others that can't either. It was one of those things that I didn't know but I felt I needed to for some reason. TWEEZERS WILL BE NEEDED.

The first difference: Size!

"The two species of alligators, the American and the Chinese, tend to be slightly smaller than crocodiles when comparing size and weight." - petful.com

An American alligator is about thirteen feet long and can weigh over 1,000 pounds. An american crocodile is usually fifteen feet long and can weigh over 2,000 pounds.
