The 45-acre conservation area was bequeathed to the Nottawasaga Conservation Authority by the Carruthers family.
There's a short loop trail, a picnic shelter with 10-12 tables, a small children's playground and plenty of great spots to fish along the banks of the Mad River.
You are looking for a small container about the size of a sports bottle. It contains only a log but there is room for travel bugs and coins as well as some tradables so bring some along. Bring your own pen.
