Easy access, but please park off the estate (park at the shops at the top of Sea Lane and walk all the way down - there's one stretch with no footpath so take care especially with children/dogs). There's no restrictions on walking or cycling down to the beach.
The cache is in camouflage, and contains a log and an example of a Piddock. This gives a clue to my little "Pebble Dash" series if you haven't already found them. I was amazed to find out about this and was pleased to find a culprit "in situ".
The cache can be done as part of the "Pebble Dash" series and other caches along this stretch of the coastline.
As you approach the end of the road, it's to the right, hidden away. Have a careful look at the object in the bag and you'll glimpse a Piddock or two!
PLEASE LEAVE THE OBJECT IN THE BAG, and replace everything securely in the camo bag as found once you have signed the log - thanks! There's more information on line if this sparks your interest, eg https://www.thehazeltree.co.uk/2013/08/21/piddocks-anything-but-boring/
If you want to continue to Pebble Dash #2 (GC6KM1F), only use the beach if the tide is out. Otherwise please walk east along Old Point and through the passage ("twitten") at the end, to loop back to the beach.
