Woohooo!!! It's CITO time again!! It's your chance to clean up this great city and maybe find a few caches along the way. CITOs are my favourite events!! I always feel great afterwards and it is a good chance to meet up with other cachers so I thought it was time to host a CITO event myself. I have it on good authority that there will be another CITO event in Edmonton on the weekend before this one so hopefully you can attend both events, but if not, at least try to attend one of them. All cachers who attend one of these events will earn the CITO 2017 souvenir.
We will be meeting in the main parking lot in Jackie Parker Recreation Area at the posted coordinates at 9:00 am and from there people can spread out through the park and clean up litter around the lake or in the trees on the west side or in the trees along the east side near 50th Street (or anywhere else you see any litter). I will provide garbage bags and disposable gloves. Please bring your own work gloves and pickers if you have them. Everyone is invited to come out and clean up this great park and possibly find a few caches too! Also, please bring any trackables you want to move along. I'll bring some too that you can discover or take to move along. We will take a group picture near the south side of the lake when the event wraps up at 11:00 am.
