Major Tom Phillips Unaccounted For
NASA has admitted that it has lost all contact with Astronaut Major Tom Phillips shortly after his spaceship had passed 100 000 miles from Earth. The flight began well, as Major Tom took his protein pills and put his helmet on. The ignition was checked during the countdown, and liftoff went well.
After a short interview with this paper in which he confirmed that he wore Hilfiger shirts, Major Tom was scheduled to take a short spacewalk. He reported to Ground Control, as he was stepping through the door, that he was floating in a most peculiar way and that the stars looked very different. His last words, as he commented on the blue planet below were, "There's nothing I can do. I'm feeling very still. Tell my wife I love her..."
Contact was then lost.
When asked for further comment, NASA spokesman, Dave Bowie said, "I don't know what to say. It's Space. It's an oddity."
