Döner kebab to rodzaj kanapki mięsnej, grillowanej na okrągłym rożnie. Jest podobna do greckiego gyrosa, meksykańskiego al pastor'a (lub taco al pastor) czy arabskiej shawarmy. Wszystkie te potrawy są przepyszne ;)
W jakim celu chciałbyś zjeść kebaba w Donnerstag? W ostatnim roku ponad 6000 geokeszerów na całym świecie uczestniczyło w 233 Dönerstag-eventach. W całej Europie.
Jak tureckie danie połączyło się z niemiecką tradycją? Cóż. W latach 50 i 60-tych tysiące Turków przyjechały do RFN do pracy. Tureccy pracownicy przywieźli ich ulubione danie ze sobą. Obecnie, nawet małe miasteczka mają co najmniej jedną turecką "kebabownię".
A w Polsce? Są miasta gdzie kebaba możesz znaleźć na każdym rogu...

For what purpose you have to eat Döner kebab on Donnerstag? Last year, over 6000 Geocachers attended 233 Dönerstag events. The events were held all over Europe.
How Turkish dish got mixed up with the German tradition? Well.. In the 1950's and 60s, thousand of Turks arrived in Germany to work. The Turkish workers brought their cuisine with them. Nowadays, even small towns have at least one Turkish eatery.
There are cities in Poland, where Kebab restaurants are on every corner...

Meeting starts in Amrit Kebab at 6.30PM, Górczewska 97 in Warsaw. April 13th 2017. Event lasts 45 minutes.
