The One on the Peninsula Traditional Cache

Medium sized cache in the woods on a peninsula in Sawmill Creek. 

This Cache is located off Beverly Beach Road, on a small forested peninsula in Sawmill Creek where it flows into the Manasquan River. Surrounded on 3 sides by a tidal section of the creek, is a small pine barrens woodland with various species of plants (including the rare Pink Lady's Slipper orchid, Pitch Pine and Red Cedar), a shoreline, and a grassy marsh at the tip of the peninsula inhabited by Fiddler Crabs. This is a beautiful spot anyone can enjoy whether you're a paleontologist, actor or even someone who does statistical analysis and data reconfiguration. It’s the perfect place to go for a walk with that special someone, or by yourself if you’re “on a break”. This is basically a small neighborhood park in Beverly Beach. Please be sure not to damage any of the wildlife. There is no parking lot, just street parking on Beverly Beach Rd. The peninsula can be accessed by a trail head where the woods meet the road.The cache name “The One on the Peninsula” sounds like an episode of Friends, so feel free to leave Friends themed swag.
